one shark caught but lost 8 or 9

it was a slow afternoon although the jacks and bluefish were in and out busting bait.

here is my bluefish

the when the night came... the black tip sharks moved in thick and we hooked a lot but only landed one(yeah i know).

and that fish was caught on a j hook. the rest were hooked with the circles and it came right out. so now i know for sure that i haven't caught as many sharks all because of the type of hooks i was using. i going with j's now or but some circle hooks that are larger and have a bigger gap on them.

here is a fish that he caught on MY rod which I handed it to him to fight the fish.

this fish btw lived even though there is blood on the side. it was tongue hooked thats why. that what j's do they get swallowed more.
