warning to all who use the CALTEX servo at CAMIRA there high octain fuel is CONTAMENATED so do not use this as we found out yesterday. al

your joking obviously you found out the hard way did you big al.boat or car? water in the fuel?

i dont fuel up near there but thanks for the heads up.

i have a water seperater if you wish to borrow it and not to disgard the fuel.

no it was my ute, I was getting low and put $30 in, got a minute down the road when the motor died. I don't think it was water as when I drained the tank it was a clear liquid that when sat for a while it didn't separate, either that or it was 99% water and 1% petrol, it only had a slight petrol smell to it and it did not irritate my skin at all like petrol normally does.

Also was informed that last week the caltex at forest lake was selling the high octane fuel cheap but would not confirm if it was contaminated or not, you bought it at you own risk, a sign actually had this on it out the front.

now to go through the caltex complaints dept.

BP guarantee's their fuel and have an excellent complaint dept. They disowned my local because of complaints and not upgrading pumps.
