just got back home from a trip out the bay to our spot x in the bay near green . we got 1 school mackerel and 10 tailor and dropped a couple of mackerel and lost more tailor than we caught al

russian yes they are we only got one but there were a few around just couldnt hook up . al

They rarely leave, I have my best sessions on schoolies through winter. Most people think they are only here through the warmer months so stop fishing for them when it cools down, that's why you don't get many reports coming through this time of year.

Its good theres no reports or else itl just get raped like summer months.

Who ever knows where they are keep it to themself.

got them on pillies under a float with about a 900mm trace with a small sinker on the top of the hooks so as to keep the pillie down a bit in the current .they came on the bite 5.30 pm and finished 8.00 pm these were school mackerel . we got a few hits on surface lures but no hook up cheers al .
