Locality: Entrance Channel beacons to Pelican Banks Reach - Brisbane River

Activity: Harbour Masters Direction - vessel traffic restrictions during the arrival and departure of the passenger ship Queen Mary 2

Mariners are advised that on Friday 21 February 2014, the passenger ship Queen Mary 2 will visit Brisbane.

To ensure safety of the transit the Regional Harbour Master has given a general direction under the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Act 1994.

The direction restricts the navigation, anchoring and the operation of all ships (including small self propelled craft) on waters of the Brisbane River between the Entrance Channel Beacons and the Pelican Banks Reach, from 0500 hours until 0700 hours and again from 1700 hours until 1815 hours on Friday 21 February 2014.
