Activity: dredging operations

Mariners are advised that dredging operations are scheduled to take place near Victoria Point from 14 April 2014 and continue until 6 June 2014. The dredging operations will be conducted using the spudded barge 'BSB1' with an excavator, the work boat 'Little Toot' and the hopper barge 'Groper'.

The dredging will take place in the approach channel adjacent to the jetty in the approximate position, latitude 27° 35.0' S, longitude 153° 19.2' S.

The dredging operators shall monitor VHF channel 13.

Mariners are requested to keep clear of the dredging operations and pass at slow speed, no wash or powerwave for the duration of the works.
