ON the final day of a recent trip to the US for the launch of Evinrude’s innovative G2 E-TEC outboards, myself and a bevy of other Aussie fishing/boating writers dropped into a Bass Pro shop located halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago.

Wow if only we had tackle shops like that here! Going to America at the end of the year and one of the bass pro shops in Las Vegas is only 12 minutes from where we are staying!!! Who wants to place their orders now haha.

Yeah they are a pretty wicked shop, I went to the one in vegas. too much stuff in there, couldnt decide what to buy and ended up with not that much at all, mostly worried about baggage weight but ended up being 7kg under the limit. Oh well.

Yeah I think it will involve some pre planning and a mighty big shopping list so I don't miss anything!!!

Get some of the tiny 1/16 spinnerbaits. BooYah brand, I think they cost me like $2. I have found they are amazing on the creek bass.

Thanks Jarryd. I'll put them straight onto my list. Were there any other lures that you've found great on the bass?

Ive had good luck with the storm crankbaits too. There is so much to choose from, I just got 1 of lots of things. Good fun testing them out over here too.
