Morning session at the Pin

I promised a couple of fellows from work that I would take them for a trip to the pin to chase some flathead. Drifting in the boat was the plan, the tide was running just a bit to fast to keep the baits on the bottom without using a ton of lead, but we still managed to get a few flathead. We let one 75cm and a 76cm go and a couple of little ones around the 37cm mark.

After the tide turn and had run out a bit, and getting a couple of more keepers decided to move to another spot. No decent flatties but we did get a feed of bream (and a tarwhine) which were still biting when we left. Also a school of small taior came through most where under 30cm but were fun on poppers.

Here is a photo of what we took home between the three of us ( I thought I left the camera in the car, only found it as we were packing up to leave, no pics of the ones we let go). [img size=500]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/IMG_2080_AFO.jpg
