queensland NPD 26/8/20

Back to NPD after a week and a half partly due to enforced layover due to winds. Shrimp traps produced ok except for 3 which had mysteriously migrated to a different location. ( Same thing had happened on our previous trip} By midday there was 4 down of mouth fishos aboard with only 18 fish boated and we were on our way back to the ramp when I spotted a decent show on the sounder so I hit the spot lock and when the boat settled just moved back slowly till we were on top of the school and increased the tally to 68 bass and 2 yellas in an hour and 10 minutes. Good fire going up towards samford with the breeze stirring it up.

Got my first stumpy for a while. Nothing worthwhile entering in the comp my best bass only went 42cm.

used to hang dead roo over water in myall creek at miles. good berley but used frogs and worms as bait,
