Baystar Hydraulic Steering Binding noise - Maintenance

Last trip out I noticed a binding noise when tilting the engine up. Greased all the outboard grease points but noise was still present.

Isolated it to the the engine steering/tilt tube connected to the baystar hydraulic steering (Part 1 in the below diagram).

Can't say I've greased this since owning so nut (part 4) was an absolute pain to loosen due to corrosion.

Tried to soak in some WD-40 (no luck). Ended up blow torching the nut and the heat was enough to break the corrosion.

Applied grease liberally to the steering rod and nuts. Binding sound gone! I'll have to add this step to my annual service.
