Went to eastern arm this morning with Craig. Lucky we had plenty of shrimp left over from last trips as we averaged less than one shrimp per pot that we pulled. Brought 7 of them home to give them a pressure wash to remove the accumulated gunk and will relocate them next trip. We headed upstream and the bass were hard to find until we pulled up at the orange marker tree and found a hungry school. 27 bass for Craig and 16 bass and one tandan for me.

Hi Ray, definitely something not quite right with the shrimp traps down there. It used to be better than that . Maybe try that area near where I hung the coke can a few years back , it used to be pretty reliable for a fair few shrimp. I’ll have my little boat back when I get back , I’ll take my pots down there and add them to your line to make things a little more productive. It’s hardly worth going down there with only a handful of shrimp.
