Another waste of time going to NPD this morning. 5 bass and one forky for 6 hours fishing for 3 of us. At least the bass were a good size between 39 and 42cm. The last few years the fishing has really declined in both numbers and size with the only species increasing are the fork tailed catfish. This time of the year should be the peak bass season. It is really making me to consider about renewing my permit.

That's terrible. Do you think the forkies are to blame ? Are the stocking levels still high ?

Word is the Kobble Creek side of the dam is quite well stocked....Pine River side isn't a patch on what it used to be.

So is this fishing pressure or education?
