Hi im, new  have been fishing for most of my life. One of my earliest memories was catching a mangrove jack up Noosa river. I like to find where the fishing is great. Recently I have been getting on to the trevally. I think I’m a bit spoiled being able to go to a fishing spot and fish for species.  Have just moved to Hervey Bay and am looking for those secret spots I can target fish species. Peace

Nice part of the world you call home.

Everyone shares the same secret spots unknowingly these days...very few left to find that are not known collectively.

You might find it easier to select a species and learn them than looking for sweet spots.

Couple of known good things in your area....

Grunter through winter in the Sandy Straits working the feeder creek mouths with cross channels.

Sandy Straits until November or the first big flush for Golden Trevally and both types of salmon....

Squid for the next few months down around Tin Can Bay....work the rocks and weed edges.
