hinze western arm 12/9/24

Went to western am this morning and after doing shrimp pots we headed downstream for a slow start with only 6 bass boated by 10 am so we headed up stream with no results until we arrived at the tip of ians island where we found a school. We ended up with 25 bass between 35 and 46cm with plenty over 40cm. Also saved one for the eagle . Back at the ramp by midday. I just rang the phone number about the closure on the 30th and SEQ water are doing some kind of a publicity film event. The reason they have not publicized it on their recreation and safety notices is that they do not want the general public turning up and getting in their way. STUFF THE FISHOS WHO DO NOT SEE THE NOTICE.
