Swansea Chanel Central Coast Saturday with the Neighbours

School Holidays. It is against my Religion to go fishing on the weekends, especially a long weekend in NSW.

We arrived just after sunrise. Thank God the wind has gone.  Blackfish were the go. The boys didn't have any rods, so I set up some of mine.

I showed them how important berley was & to be patient. This is not rock fishing. They lost a few, but they got the hang of it in the end.

Between us we caught 12. 32 to 35 CM. There were plenty of fish. We were there for over two hours.

Time to go before the holiday invaders arrive. Lots of fun & laughs.

Day light saving stars tomorrow in NSW. Yippee.

It is well worth the effort and frustrations when you put the lads onto a couple of fish eh.  

Some of my best memories fishing are of the young kids first proud fishing moments.
