Went to western arm with Tai in Ricks boat. Rick started off by chucking his rod sock overboard and watching it sink. Then Tai had to reset the bow mount when it went into stupid mode and shut down. Then Rick dropped the prop on the stern mount. Tai did a great job in retrieving it in 5 ft of water but we had no spare prop nut or shear pin so we went back to the ramp using just the bow mount which has another hissy fit and would not stow correctly. Apart from all the drama we had a good day with 57 quality bass and a nice yella all from the one spot out from the white post down near the movie set. All caught on live shrimp, tagged and released.

Wow, that sounds like my sort of luck. You must have felt vulnerable coming home.

What a great Yella ! Also some 50's bass. I think the fishing beat the bad luck, on points.
