  1. Nice work @kmcrosby78 over to you.
  2. You need to be confident to catch one of these. Never caught one that was 3 metres but have caught them with bare hands.
  3. Way too cold people. Time for another clue. i have no size limit in Qld.
  4. None of the above. Keep guessing guys. Another clue soon.
  5. Ok, here you go @GregOug. I can grow to 3 metres.
  6. Never thought my love for fishing and my love for crosswords would ever coincide.
  7. Great result on the new gear @Sneaky1. What do you do to keep the Mac tuna? Freeze them whole? Fillet, salt and freeze?
  8. So, I think we are talking about different fish here. Barracouta are the southern fish that are a good eating fish and barracuda are the northern fish that is a bit stinky and not a recognised table fish.
  9. You could try the Tin Shed. You will probably catch a cool breeze and a cold beer on a hot arvo. But seriously now folks, from memory there are some lovely little creeks around Mossman where I have seen JPs by the dozens. Nice part of the world.
  10. Not sure if the pike that Robbie eats grows big enough to do that sort of damage, Hamish. Was it a barracuda? Although I think barracuda are also known as Pike in some areas?
  11. Nah, sorry mate. Can’t make it out this week at all. I am keen to get back there though and it is a good spot for a 2 or 3 boat tag along so let’s keep an eye out for opportunities in the coming weeks.
  12. And your first clue wasn’t obscure? You might have to give us a teeny bit more help with this one Robbie.
  13. I got a little bit interested in a quick fish Thursday morning until I realised that I already had commitments. I wouldn’t be surprised if that weather window closed as well. Just have to be patient I guess.
  14. At least it wasn’t a donut @ellicat. Did you try trolling for the macs? Lucky you got out at all today - weather looks a bit ordinary for the next week.
  15. My Garmin touch screen is pretty good with wet hands or drops on the screen. Much better than my iPhone. But you can use the buttons if you prefer.
  16. That’s pretty cheeky for someone who might be looking for a deckie spot over the school holidays @AUS-BNE-FISHO. I might have to ask @Sneaky1for a lend of his thong. Oh wait, you might not see this because you can’t get notifications. Sucks to be you, Hamish! Only kidding, mate. We will find some time and good weather over your holidays to explore a few spots.
  17. I can see it on iPad in the same place. I have already forgotten what the site looked like yesterday. I guess 50 beers a week will do that to you. Anyway, where was I?
  18. Doh! I made it too easy. Chicken dinner to you @Drop Bear
  19. My turn. I grow fast and swim fast.
