  1. Thanks mate. It was an unscheduled service @Another Wazza but luckily it happened because I had a 80% blocked main artery. Blood pressure fine, cholesterol really low so rather a surprise hospital visit. Hopefully I’ll get some decent fish next year.
  2. Ah. The red wine is on the back burner at the moment. Only my second day after an angiogram and stent.
  3. I think you’re safe. I have a terrible memory.
  4. I didn’t mean with this one. I meant after you have now tasted how good they are, everyone will be after them.
  5. Your wife looks like she’s right into this fishing thing.
  6. I like you already! We could have a blast around the camp fire over one or twenty beers.
  7. Thanks. I don’t feel so pathetic now.
  8. Just get a surf board and go out around Ballina. Shouldn’t take long. They’ll find you.
  9. Or Holden’s. Oh that’s right. They don’t make them any more. Then again, even when they did they they were only just ‘Holden’ together. Lol.
  10. Sneaky, please tell me you aren’t catching these snapper and squire in Pumicestone Passage. I couldn’t find any there 40 years ago, so surely they aren’t there now.
  11. And so the Threadfin Salmon population of the Brisbane River suddenly plummets. Whatever can the cause be?
  12. Just buy a boat Hamish. The average will immediately drop to near zero.
  13. Yeah, except I’m not letting you guys get away with anything.
  14. Okay. Then tell them Greg said to toughen up.That should fix things.

    All fishers

Merry Christmas to you too, you old buzzard. What are they chewing on though? Swimmers?
  16. Hi @cphillips. Most crab pots are collapsible these days so take up hardly any room. I would have thought the roof racks would be an ideal storage solution, if you are concerned about the smell. Having said all that, toughen up! A bit of crab and fish aroma is all part of the fishing experience.
